1. Take one wide photo showing the whole item.

2. Take one close-up of the contamination.

3. Include a ruler, tape measure or known object for scale.

4. Photograph a chipped or peeling coating edge if layers are visible.

5. Show tight access areas or geometry that may affect the work.
