WHAT MUST BE DEFINED
The target cleanliness is only part of the specification. Some coatings require a particular anchor profile or roughness. Laser cleaning may clean the surface without producing the same profile as abrasive blasting. The coating manufacturer's specification should determine whether additional profiling is required.
